The DepanIQ mobile application ("the App") is intended for employees of businesses using the DepanIQ platform. Accounts are created and managed by the user's employer.
1. Data we collect
- Identity: first name, last name, email address and employee number, provided by your employer when your account is created.
- Time punches: date and time of your clock-ins and clock-outs, and the selected project or department.
- Location: your geographic position is captured only at the moment you punch in or out, to confirm the punch is made from a location authorized by your employer. The App never collects location in the background.
- Schedule: your planned shifts, entered by your employer.
2. Purposes
This data is used exclusively for work-time management: recording punches, validating punch locations, viewing schedules, and preparing timesheets and payroll for your employer.
3. Sharing
Your data is accessible to your employer (authorized managers of your store) and to DepanIQ as the platform provider. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. No advertising tracking is performed.
4. Hosting and security
Data is hosted on Google Cloud (Montréal region, Canada). Communications between the App and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Your session is stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
5. Retention
Punch data is retained as long as required by your employer for record-keeping and payroll obligations, in accordance with applicable laws.
6. Your rights
To access, correct or delete your data, first contact your employer, who is responsible for your account. You can also reach us at support@depaniq.com.
7. Changes
Any changes to this policy will be published at this address.
